Firstly, this is a package developed to help guide you with unlocking your  iPhone. This tutorial was developed by Global Unlock.  This solution was development by others includingZibro's, unlock.no, GeeZuZz, Geircito, GeoHotz and who were the responsible for developing this unlock solution and should be given full credit for its creation.  If you are getting this free, we cannot offer support on it, but have included FAQ by Giercito below.

Unlock your iPhone in less then 5 minutes.  You are not required to run any additional software for new iPhones.  If you have attempted to unlock your iPhone before or have a iPhone that you can use every feature except the phone, It is suggest that you use iTunes to restore your phone to 1.1.3 firmware before proceeding. 

What You Require:

-          Computer with Windows OS

-          The original iPhone Data Cable

Preparation Step: You have a Windows OS Computer and the data cable connected to your iPhone

Step 1:  go to http://www.globalunlock.com/ZiPhoneGUI31.exe to download the software needed, onto your desktop

Step 2: Once you have downloaded the software, extract the zip file on your desktop in folder ZiPhoneGUI3.

Step 3: Open the ZiPhoneGUI3 the folder and double click on ZiphoneGUI31.exe (it may have a lock logo next to it)

Step 4: Esure that Jailbreak, Activate and Unlock boxes are checked in the Options Menu (as in the picture above)

If you have an iPhone with firmware version 1.1.2 – Also check off 'Downgrade Bootloader' in the Options Menu, if you would like Google Locate Me to work on your iPhone.

Step 5: Click on the 'Free My iPhone' button (as shown in the picture above).  You will see DOS screen that will run codes running(delete) on your iPhone that will run for about 3 minutes.

Step 6: You will get a successfully complete message on your computer.  Your iPhone is now Unlocked.

Any other features on this software (all features), use at your own risk, if not done correctly, you can damage your iphone.

How To Put Your Sim Card In

-          At the very top of the phone, you will see two wholes (1 big, 1 small), you will take a pin, thumb tack and press in that whole.  The piece of plastic will slide up where you can pull out and insert your SIM card.

Data Charges

-          This phone is made for data and most networks that carry the iPhone have an unlimited data plan to use anywhere.  There is 2 ways to access data, through Edge (GPRS) and Wifi (Wireless Network). 

o       Wifi can be used if you have access to a wireless network, some malls, Star Bucks and other places offer WiFi to there customers.  On the iPhone, goto Settings > WiFi  then choose a network you want to access.  On Wifi You can use data unlimited once you have connection

o       Edge (GPRS) is using data through your SIM card.  This can be very costly if you do not have a data plan.  People have used it without a plan and have been charged huge phone bills.  GOOD NEWS, we do not set up your Edge (GPRS) for you, so until it is set up, you cannot be charged (or access data) through this method.  If you are interested, you can contact your phone provider and ask for the settings.  To put then into your phone, goto Settings > General > Network > Edge and enter your APN, Username and password

Firmware Upgrade

-          After unlocked, you cannot upgrade the firmware on this phone.  iTunes will always prompt you to update/install Firmware to latest version.  If you accidentally update/install the phone you may DAMAGE your phone permanently and will lock it back up. 
 

Solving Problems:

Help, I have problem with Mail, it doesn't work as it should

- click Installer-icon on iPhone,
- click Install-ikon, scroll down and click iClarified,
-- scroll down and click Syncfix, click Install, click Install, wait a little...
- click home-button, slide "slide to unlock" to the right
- reboot iPhone (hold on/off-button for 5 sec), slide "slide to power off" to the right
- turn on iPhone (hold on/off-button for 2 sec)


Help, Wi-Fi doesn't work
- click Installer-icon on iPhone,
- click Install-icon, scroll down and click Utilities,
-- scroll down and click BossPrefs, click Install, click Install, wait a little...
- click home-button, slide "slide to unlock" to the right
- click BossPrefs-icon on iPhone,
- WiFi: click ON (ie. you turn it off), wait a little, click ON again


Help, EDGE doesn't work
- click Installer-icon on iPhone,
- click Install-icon, scroll down and click Utilities,
-- scroll down and click BossPrefs, click Install, click Install, wait a little...
- click home-button, slide "slide to unlock" to the right
- click BossPrefs-icon on iPhone,
(if gui shows that Wifi is off, even if you see the Wi-Fi-icon on the statusbar: click ON)
- Edge: click ON (ie. you turn it off), wait a little, click ON again
If you now wish that EDGE shall always be turned off: click ON (ie. you turn off to OFF)


Help, I have 300Mb under Other in iTunes
This is a bug in the latest version of iTunes - nothing to worry about.


Help, iTunes don't let me continue - nagging about wrong SIM-card
- put the sim-card that came with iPhone in the iPhone
- put your sim-card in iPhone before you start running ziPhone.


Help, iTunes showing error (1603)
Restart computer and start over.


Help, there are no sound coming out of iPhone
- click Settings-icon on iPhone, click General,
-- scroll down and click Reset, click Reset All Settings, click Reset All Settings
iPhone will reboot automatically.
After this you must log on to your Wi-Fi network again.


Help, it seems like iPhone is not fully jailbreaked
- click Installer-icon on iPhone
- click Sources-icon, click Edit (upper right), click Add (upper left)
-- write http://i.unlock.no, click OK, wait a little..., click Done (upper right)
- click Install-icon, scroll down and click Unlocking Tools,
-- scroll down and click ZiPhone iBrickr Fix, click Install , click Install, wait a little...
- click home-button, slide "slide to unlock" to the right
- reboot iPhone (hold on/off-button for 5 sec), slide "slide to power off" to the right
- turn on iPhone (hold on/off-button for 2 sec)


Help, I don't get any signal from my provider - calling doesn't function
First try this:
- click Settings-icon on iPhone, click General,
-- scroll down and click Reset, click Reset All Settings, click Reset All Settings
iPhone will reboot automatically.
(after this you must log on to your Wi-Fi network again)
It that didn't solve your problem:
If you have an older iPhone OTB 1.0.2 (or OTB 1.1.1)
and don't know or are unsure what earlier unlocking method that was
used for unlocking your iPhone (ie. older versions of anySIM, unlock.app, ....),
